João Guilherme, son of actress Letícia Birkheuer, published a new video on social networks to denounce the conflicts involving his mother. In the recording, he said that Letícia lied in her recent statements and denied being under the influence of her father, Alexandre Furmanovich, the actress’s former partner.
The controversy began after Letícia went public with her son’s legal custody dispute and reported an alleged separation between the two. In response, João published a video alongside his father in which he describes a difficult coexistence with his mother and recalls an episode in which he was allegedly attacked by a nurse during a stay at her home in Rio de Janeiro.
The same day, the actress denied the accusations and claimed that her son suffered from parental alienation. According to Letícia, the legal battle began after a car accident involving her ex-husband and the teenager.

In the new video, João once again commented on the episode. “I’m going to say it in short words: everything she said there, in that video, is a lie. I’m going to clarify. I don’t even need to clarify, but I will. I want you to know the truth,” he began.
“The car thing, July 2021: the accident was not my father’s fault. My father was not upset, my father was not drunk, none of that. The accident happened because there was a problem with the rear wheel of the car, which no one knew about, and my father did not realize that the car was going on the other side of the road and ended up hitting another car,” the teenager claimed.
Hire a nurse
João Guilherme also commented on Letícia Birkheuer’s hiring of a nurse, based on an alleged medical report. “Even if she had a medical report from a psychiatrist to hire a nurse, there is a basic protocol to follow when hiring a nurse to care for a minor. You have to take that minor to an appointment with the psychiatrist and let them tell you whether they need it or not.”

“I’m not crazy, I’m not suicidal to hire a nurse, but even if there was a report, she would have to present it to a psychiatrist for analysis,” he added.
Finally, João said he was tired of the revelation of the affair and accused his mother of exploiting the situation to seek engagement on social networks: “I want to send you a message here, face to face. I don’t like you exposing me, I have now taken the courage to come here and speak in public, because I am tired of you exposing me.”
“I’ve already said several times in messages that I don’t like you exposing me, using me as an object to carry out a light 5 minute engagement that then ends, and then you have to use me again and again,” he continued.

In the same video, the teenager disputed the allegation that Letícia invested large sums of money to take care of him. “My mother said she spent 1 million reais in the courts to try to get me back, to try to generate empathy for the mother who was suffering, but if she has money and says she would spend all her assets to get me back, why doesn’t she give it to an institution? She never contributed to a school or anything to me here,” he said.
Ending the video, he said he preferred to keep his distance from his mother and called the situation a “media war.” “I don’t want to see you for a long time, I have my plausible reasons, Justice does not yet seem to have understood very well, but it will understand soon, so much so that it granted me (the right to) go live with my father at the age of 11,” he concluded.
