The British driver Lewis Hamilton is the top winner of the world championship with Mercedes and McLaren. Like Michael Schumacher, he won seven titles during his career.
However, this year the move to Ferrari to accompany Charles Leclerc in the winningest team was not what he expected. Instead, it left a negative legacy that worries him.
Despite winning the sprint race in China, the British rider did not achieve any of the 24 podium places this season. This is the first time since he joined Formula 1 in 2007.
Fourth place was the best result at the races in Great Britain, Austin, Austria and Imola. With 156 points he reached 6th place in the drivers’ standings and finished in the top ten in 19 laps.
