The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) has rejected, at least for now, the plea bargain proposal of businessman Roberto Augusto Leme da Silva, known as Beto Louco. The existence of negotiations for denunciation was revealed by the chronicle, in October.
Initially, Beto Louco negotiated the plea with the MPF of Paraná. The case was brought before the PGR, in Brasilia, after it began to mention politicians with privileged jurisdiction in its proposal. One of these politicians is the President of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP).
Among other information, Beto Louco would have offered Alcolumbre pens from Mounjaro, nicknamed “the Ozempic of the rich”. The injectable medication is used to aid weight loss.
The Chronicle contacted Davi Alcolumbre, through his press office, and Beto Louco, through his lawyers. There is still no answer. The space remains open.
On August 28, Beto Louco was the target of Operation Hidden Carbon of the Federal Policewhich is investigating the infiltration of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) in the gas station and fuel sector.
According to the column by journalist Natália Portinari on the UOL portal, the PGR considered the material presented by Beto Louco insufficient. For the organization headed by Paulo Gonet, the businessman did not present evidence likely to corroborate the story presented in the complaint.
