The 28-year-old Spanish footballer signed a contract that binds him to the institution until December 2027, with an option to extend it until December 2028.
Reguilón’s arrival comes just days after Inter Miami won its first MLS Cup title in a Dec. 6 final against the Vancouver Whitecaps. This also marked the farewell to Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, who ended their careers after the victory. In this context, the club was looking for a senior replacement at left-back, a vacancy that is now set to be filled by the former Real Madrid player.
Reguilón, born in Madridbegan his career in the lower divisions of Real Madrid, where he remained for a decade before making his first-team debut during a UEFA Champions League match in October 2018. He was then part of the squad that brought the white club their fourth FIFA Club World Cup title. His prognosis led him to a loan move to Sevilla FC in the 2019/20 season, where he played a key role in winning the championship UEFA Europa League and was included in the ideal team of the tournament.

Born in Madrid, Spain, Reguilón began his youth career at Real Madrid CF, where he progressed through the club’s youth system for ten years before being loaned out to second division club UD Logroñés for the 2015/16 season. He returned to Real Madrid in 2016, where he played for Real Madrid Castilla before making his first-team debut in the UEFA Champions League in October 2018. He made his LaLiga debut a month later and was part of the squad that won Real Madrid’s fourth FIFA Club World Cup title that same season.
After his development in Madrid, Reguilón moved on loan to Sevilla FC, where he enjoyed a brilliant 2019/20 season. During his time with the Red and Whites, he helped them win the UEFA Europa League and secured a place in the team of the season.
His excellent performances in Spain earned him a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur in England, where he spent two seasons before continuing his European career on loan with Atlético de Madrid.
