Late 2025 and early 2026 will see a new wave of releases for the Nintendo Switch 2, with a list of confirmed titles expanding the console’s catalog.
The launch of exclusive games, new versions of popular franchises and adaptations for Nintendo Switch 2 is part of the platform’s commitment to further expand options for users and focus the attention of the gamer community on what’s new for this generation.
The official list of games for Nintendo Switch 2 spans genres from simulation to strategyto role-playing games, action and sports adventures. The developers have already announced release dates and details and expect months of activity and renewals in the console’s digital library.
In the last month of 2025 Two premieres are at the top of the console’s agenda. Factorio – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available on December 22nd, adapting this factory and resource management hit to take advantage of the Switch 2’s updated hardware.
On December 25, PRITTO PRISONER – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be added, an exclusive offer for this platform aimed at those looking for original experiences and content designed specifically for the new generation of users.
In addition to the December premieres, a few more titles may be added at the end of 2025. Glacier, Release in the United States is plannedwill expand the range of exploration adventures and cold environments.
Also announced are My Time at Evershine, which aims at life simulation and community development, and Suika Game Planet, which expands the range of family games.
The arrival of Virtua Fighter 5 REVO World Stage marks the return of the renewed fighting classic for Switch 2in a list that is supplemented with other deliveries already planned.
Several developments are expected to arrive sometime in 2025, with no specific date known. Those confirmed include independent projects such as Aurascopio and titles from recognized franchises such as Disney Dreamlight Valley and Stardew Valley in an edition optimized for the new console.
Other proposals scheduled for release during this period include Castillo del Corazón: RecontadoMouse Work, Layers of Fear: The definitive edition of the masterpiece, Paper Sky and Spine.
From January 2026, The list of releases for Nintendo Switch 2 will add a new wave of highly anticipated deliveries. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released on January 15th together with Legend of Heroes: Paths Beyond the Horizon.
Other notable releases of the month include MIO: Memories in OrbitDynasty Warriors: Origins, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, The Rumble Fish 2, Core Keeper, Dispatch Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and Card-en-Ciel Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
In February, the premieres continue with titles such as 4PGP: Four-player Grand Prix and Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined on February 5th, Mario Tennis Fever and Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties on February 12th.
Likewise, a series of variants of the Resident Evil saga on February 27th. These include Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition, Resident Evil Generation Pack, Resident Evil Requiem and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition.
Established franchises and new sagas are scheduled to be released in March 2026. Pokémon Pokopia has been at the top of the agenda since March 5th. followed by the return of the Japanese horror saga with Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake on March 12th.
Other releases include Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and Marvel Cosmic Invasion on March 13, pushing the boundaries of action and adventure titles.
