  • 1 old brioche
  • 2 cups milk (tea)
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • 2 and 1/2 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 cup (tea) of water
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar

Preparation method

  1. In a bowl, mix milk, condensed milk, beaten eggs, vanilla and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Cut the brioche into wide slices.
  3. Dip the slices into the mixture, pressing them lightly until they absorb the liquid well from both sides.
  4. Fry the French toast in the hot oil until evenly browned.
  5. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
  6. In a pan still away from the heat, mix the sugar and water. And vinegar until it dissolves.
  7. Cook over medium-low heat without stirring for about 15 minutes, until it reaches hard candy point.
  8. Turn off the heat and pour the hot syrup over each piece of toast.
  9. Wait for it to cool until it is firm, then garnish with strawberries if desired.
