Ludmilla broke the silence this Friday (19) after Marcão do Povo affirm, live on the SBT show “Primeiro Impacto”, that he would have been exonerated by the courts in the case of the accusation of racial insult against the singer. Outraged, the artist publicly contested the version presented by the journalist and criticized the position of the presenter and the broadcaster.
“Today I received news from an SBT presenter who, once again, was not transparent with his audience,” Ludmilla began, in a statement posted on social media.
The singer said that the speech broadcast on the show does not correspond to the reality of the process and called this position misleading. “He was not innocent, my friends. What he did, in fact, was a maneuver to avoid consequences,” he said.
“He won’t pay anything for that.”
In her outburst, Ludmilla emphatically explained that, even if there is no longer a criminal conviction in force, the recognition of the racist act remains ongoing. “The court recognizes the racism he committed against me, but he will not pay anything for it,” he said.
The singer also revealed the emotional impact of seeing the presenter’s speech. “It is with a stomach ache that I receive this video and this decision,” he said.
