The “excellent/good” evaluation of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) remained at 30% in the Ipsos/Ipec survey published Tuesday evening, 9, compared to the month of September. Those who consider Lula “bad/terrible” are 40%. In the September survey, this figure was 38%. The regular rating was 29%, up from 31%. 2% don’t know or didn’t answer (it was 1%).
Lula’s popularity rating now stands at 42%, compared to 44% in September. According to the survey, 52% disapprove of the president. It was 51% in the previous survey. 6% do not know or did not answer, compared to 5%.
Lula obtained a confidence index of 40%, one percentage point lower than in the September survey. Those who say they do not trust the president remain at 56%. 4% do not know or did not answer, compared to 3%.
Taking into account the expectations of those questioned, the perception of the Lula government is better at 24%, a figure maintained compared to September. 43% have a worse perception (compared to 44%) and 31%, the same (compared to 30%). 2% do not know or did not answer (3% in the previous one).
The survey was carried out between December 4 and 8. 2,000 interviews were carried out in 131 Brazilian cities. The confidence level is 95%. The margin of error is 2 percentage points.
