Appointed by Lula to the STF, the Minister of the Attorney General (AGU), Jorge Messias, met the Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, Monday afternoon (12/8).
The meeting, according to the chronicle, took place at the Palácio do Planalto. Among other topics, the two men discussed the Messiah scenario in the Senate, the House which will have to approve or reject the nomination.
Messias, as the chronicle showed, encountered resistance from senators. Among them, the President of the House, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), who does not support his appointment to the STF.
Last week, Alcolumbre even canceled Messias’ hearing, scheduled for Wednesday (12/10). Today, Planalto predicts that the minister will be questioned in February.
