The Digital Account of the Community of Madrid begins to recommend proposals on cultural projects, personalized leisure or training courses. The regional application, used for administrative procedures, now integrates artificial intelligence (AI) to offer plan suggestions taking into account the popularity of the event, its proximity or the user’s tastes. This ties in with the main function of application to carry out procedures or present aid in an agile manner, to which will be added in 2026 the request for academic-sports excellence scholarships and the rental scholarship for young people.
“This service works similar to Instagram Stories. Three suggestions on various topics will be displayed prominently on the top screen of the app,” said the Advisor for the Digitization of the Community of Madrid, Miguel López-Valverde. The suggestions are adapted to the consents and authorizations that the user has given to the platform. If you have granted them, proposals will be offered to you based on your preferences near your location, for a more personalized experience; Otherwise, popular activities will be recommended to you without the use of personal data.
Digital account will analyze the most popular activities that people visit the most, those that are closest to users (taking into account your municipality), the date on which it is celebrated and the preferences of citizens to offer recommendations. Likewise, the application is also powered by public and anonymized information, in addition to browsing the web pages of the Regional Administration that citizens have recently visited.
Some of the proposals that Digital Account can offer from the tourist portals of the Community of Madrid are the musical villain, an international production exhibited until February 2026; either guided tours of the Valley of the Neanderthals, an educational and family experience in the Pinilla del Valle Archaeological Park, among others. “With this initiative, the Regional Executive continues to advance in the digitalization of public services and thus strengthens its commitment to bringing the Regional Administration closer to all citizens,” noted the advisor.
These recommendations are in addition to the main function of the application to carry out procedures or present assistance. The goal is to integrate the digital account more than 200 procedures and allow them to be solved in a single step. By 2026, it is planned to include academic and sports excellence scholarships and new rental assistance for young people in the application. Likewise, as for cultural activities, the application offers alerts to citizens on procedures likely to interest them, so as not to miss the application deadline.
