
Pastor Silas Malafaia used social media this Friday (12/19) to challenge Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), to attack President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and the Workers’ Party, as part of investigations into a billion-dollar fraud involving illegal reductions in INSS benefits. He also defended federal deputy Sóstenes Cavalcante (RJ), leader of the PL in the House, target of a Federal Police operation this Friday (12/19).
In a video published on According to the Pastor, the PT acted to prevent clarification from members of the Chief Executive’s family.

“Stop being cynical, boy. The PT, in this investigation into the theft of retirees, prevented your brother and your son from being called. Huh? An allowance of R$300,000, your son, hey, he fled to Europe. Stop talking, stop talking,” he said.
In the same recording, Malafaia also defended the leader of the PL in the Chamber of Deputies, Sóstenes Cavalcante (RJ), who was under investigation for alleged abuse of parliamentary quotas. The pastor called the investigation “relentless persecution of the right.”
“They want to silence everyone who opposes Lula, Alexandre Moraes or the STF. It’s true (…) Where is Lula’s brother? Come here and speak. Now Lula is a loud liar who deceives the people”, he declared.

INSS CPMI submits an appeal request
These statements come on the same day that the CPMI, which is investigating the plan for illegal billion-dollar rebates against INSS retirees and pensioners, approved a new request to summon Fábio Luís Lula da Silva to testify.
The request was presented and approved by the CPMI rapporteur, MP Alfredo Gaspar (União-AL). According to the commission’s archives, Lulinha was linked to Antônio Carlos Camilo Antunes, known as “Careca do INSS”, identified as the main person responsible for the criminal scheme and arrested by the Federal Police (PF).
Gaspar also filed requests to summon Senator Weverton Rocha (PDT-MA), target of the operation launched by the PF this Thursday (18), in addition to other investigated in the new phase of Operation Without Remission.
Recently, President Lula said he defended opening an investigation into everyone involved in the project, including their family members, if there was evidence of irregularities.
“It is important that there is seriousness so that we can investigate everyone involved, all the people. No one will go free. If my son is involved in this, he will be investigated,” he said.
