The National Police arrested a 49-year-old man this Thursday while alleged perpetrator of his brother’s death54, Calle Alpujarras, in the Madrid city of Leganés. It was the neighbors who called 091 after hearing, around 3:00 p.m. on December 25, strong argument in a house.
Citizen Security agents went to the scene and found the victim with stab wounds and no apparent signs of life, according to police. Emergency sources from the Community of Madrid 112 explained that health workers confirmed the death upon arrival. The victim had already died without possibility of resuscitation.
The displaced officers found the alleged perpetrator on the ground and therefore arrested him for a crime of homicide. According to sources from the Police Headquarters, the person arrested is a psychiatric patient. The victim and the detainee are of Spanish nationality.
Agents from the DEVI of the Scientific Police, as well as from Group VI of Homicide, also went to the house, responsible for the investigation. During the last 24 hours, Two other people died from stabbings in the Community of Madrid: a 17-year-old in Puente de Vallecas and a 63-year-old man in Chamberí, both in the early hours of Christmas Eve.
