An argument in front of a house in QNR 3, Ceilândia, ended in an attempted femicide on Wednesday evening (12/17). According to information from the Federal District Military Police (PMDF), a 47-year-old man attacked a 25-year-old woman then fired a gun which hit the victim in the back.

After the crime, the attacker fled. The victim was rescued and transported to the Ceilândia Regional Hospital (HRC), where he remains conscious and in stable condition.
PMDF teams conducted searches in the area and managed to locate and arrest the suspect a few hours later. The weapon used in the shooting was seized. The case was registered at the area police station and will be investigated by the civil police.
