La Plata was the scene of another tragedy: a man died when his house caught fire. The news caused enormous excitement in the neighborhood as there were moments of extreme tension.
The incident occurred this morning in a house with 80 residents between 131 and 132. Firefighters from Los Hornos Barracks arrived there after a call from the neighborhood alerted them to the outbreak of flames.
When they arrived at the scene, they began fighting the fire and were able to remove the man, aged around 55, EL DIA learned from official sources. Troops performed CPR on him for 30 minutes and when the SAME ambulance arrived, doctors confirmed he was dead, despite efforts to save him.
The truth is that the fire not only claimed lives but also destroyed the entire house and the reasons why the fire could have broken out are currently being investigated.
