The National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet) was awarded the Martin Fierro de Oro in the Martín Fierro Streaming Awards 2025in a ceremony held on December 14, 2025 at the Buenos Aires Convention Center and organized by the Association of Argentine Television and Radio Journalists (APTRA).
The highest award was given for the special broadcast “seabed”a production together with the Schmidt Ocean Institutewho also received the award for Best special broadcastthe only proposal of the evening to receive two awards.
The broadcast consisted of live coverage of a Marine science expedition in the Argentine Atlanticwith images captured at great depths using ocean exploration technology and explanations from Conicet researchers. The content was broadcast across digital platforms and was specifically designed for streaming format.
