
The inauguration of the new governor of Corrientes, Juan Pablo Valdesbrought together several leaders from the region. Among them the president of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullarowho used his presence to harshly criticize the national government over the debt it maintains with its province.
Juan Pablo Valdés was sworn in as governor and promised to “continue transforming” Corrientes with five axes.
Pullaro insisted “The nation sits at the table and pays us what it owes us”stating that the amounts owed come from the Pension funds and from Fiscal compact not fulfilled.
“Santa Fe has no debt to the nation state, we have balanced accounts based on orderly administration and we continue to demand that they send us what corresponds to us and that we can invest in productive infrastructure and that justice be done for everything that Santa Fe gives to the nation,” Pullaro noted.
The Santa Fe governor concluded his political message by emphasizing the need “Defend the productive interior in pursuit of complete federalism”.
Praise for Valdés’ management
Pullaro was accompanied at the ceremony by the governors of Chaco. Leandro Zderoand missions, Hugo Mario Passalacquain addition to the Vice Governor of Entre Ríos, Alicia Aluani.
Speaking to the press, the Santa Fe president expressed his praise for the outgoing governor: “A huge government in the province of Corrientes, that of Gustavo Valdés, is coming to an end, which is an example for the whole of Argentina.”.
Pullaro emphasized that the management of Gustavo Valdés “He managed to modernize the province, to show that the bills could be in order and that Corrientes was fundamentally ready for much more.”.

Regarding the new CEO, Pullaro expressed his wishes “Juan Pablo Valdés would be as good a governor as his brother” and that can address the challenges shared by both provinces.
Finally, Pullaro pointed to the inner nature of national radicalism and noted that if “Gustavo Valdés wants, I have no doubt, that the entire party will support him as president of the UCR.”.
