Companies are increasingly using mediation to end disputes, particularly regarding corporate matters. According to experts, cases have become increasingly complex – sometimes involving hundreds of people, as in legal collections – which is reflected in the values of negotiations. The volume increased significantly from 2022 to 2024, from R$1.1 billion to R$4.6 billion. The number of cases increased by a third over the period, from 18 to 24.
