The Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime in Goiás (Ficco-GO) launched Operation Serra das Galés on Thursday morning (12/11), targeting a criminal organization specialized in interstate cocaine trafficking.
The action complies with 15 search and seizure warrants, eight for preventive arrest and three for temporary arrest in the states of Goiás, Tocantins and Mato Grosso.

This investigation follows two major seizures carried out in recent months. The first occurred on May 28, 2024, when teams from Ficco and Prime Minister Goiás captured, in Paraúna, a shipment of 450 kg of cocaine hydrochloride transported in two vehicles. Two drivers were then arrested.
The second took place on February 23, 2025 in Marianópolis (TO). During a joint operation involving forces from GO, TO and MT, five members of the gang were arrested.
On site, police seized an additional 450 kg of cocaine, as well as a plane and several vehicles used in criminal logistics.
. In total, approximately 900 kg of cocaine hydrochloride were removed from circulation, revealing a sophisticated distribution chain using aircraft for interstate transport.
