Scorer of the Corinthians goal in the victory against Cruzeiro, this Wednesday, in Mineirão, in a duel valid for the first match of the semi-final of the Brazilian Cup, Memphis Depay highlighted the work of the defensive sector of the black and white team.
“The first half is very important. A difficult match, because the Cruzeiro team is good. But we won a goal and defended well. The defenders were very concentrated,” the Dutchman said in Portuguese for the report of Globo Television immediately after the match.
“Now relax, rest, recover and get ready for the next match,” said the midfielder, who has scored 11 goals this season for Corinthians.
