Michelle says Bolsonaro managed to eat and underwent physiotherapy at hospital

In an Instagram post, Michelle said she spent long periods of time without her cell phone as it was not allowed to keep the device in bed. She promised to respond to messages of support at night.

Bolsonaro was admitted last Wednesday to the DF Star hospital for examinations and surgery carried out this Thursday. Given his hospitalization, the defense requested authorization so that his daughter-in-law and brothers-in-law could visit him while he was hospitalized.

Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) on Friday authorized the visit of the daughter-in-law of former President Jair Bolsonaro during her hospitalization, but rejected requests from other family members.

In this order, Moraes only authorized the visit of his daughter-in-law, Letícia Marianna Firmo da Silva, subject to access to the general rules established by the hospital for all patients. Requests for permission to visit brothers-in-law were rejected.

The minister also reiterated determinations already established in a previous decision, dated December 23, such as the ban on entering the hospital room with cell phones, computers or any other electronic device. According to Moraes, any other visit must be previously authorized by the Supreme Court.

A PF expert concluded that Bolsonaro should undergo surgery “as soon as possible.” Experts concluded that the former president suffered damage to a nerve in his torso resulting from surgery, which causes frequent hiccups.
