PL parliamentarians are uncomfortable with the position of former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro’s communications advisor, Prime Minister André Costa’s colonel, due to his position allegedly contrary to Flávio Bolsonaro’s pre-candidacy at the Planalto Palace.
In the groups of allies of the former president, copies of rebroadcasts produced by Costa with journalistic articles critical of the senator, nominated by his own father as a candidate for the presidency of the Republic, are circulating.

For example, the colonel republished, on December 13, an article containing the results of a Quaest survey which showed that 62% of respondents said they would not vote for Flávio, even with Bolsonaro’s blessing.
Michelle’s advisor also reposted excerpts from Pastor Silas Malafaia’s interview with Metropolisesin Paulo Cappelli’s column, in which the religious leader defended the senator’s retirement and a candidacy for Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).

In early December, with the confirmation of the senator’s name, Michelle’s advisor even called this possibility “ridiculous” in messages on his Instagram list.
“Ask if anyone heard Bolsonaro’s voice. Ask if anyone read a letter from Bolsonaro. Forget it!” he wrote.
The advisor also clarified that “Michelle does not speak to the press to give this type of information”. “It’s ridiculous,” added the colonel, who previously served as head of the Social Communication Secretariat (Secom) of the Presidency in the Bolsonaro government.
Other side
Questioned by the chronicle, the colonel denied being against Flávio’s candidacy and declared that his position was the same as that of the PL. Regarding the posts, he said he doesn’t remember, but that he usually reposts profiles he follows, especially right-wing ones, and that he usually duplicates the posts for easier engagement.
“My position regarding the candidacy of Senator Flávio Bolsonaro is the same as that of the party. I am closed with him. I don’t even remember the messages you are referring to. When I receive messages from profiles that I follow, especially from the right, I tend to like and repost all the messages to help the engagement of these profiles and, often, I do not even pay attention to the content. If there were these reposts, the content went unnoticed,” he said. declared.
