Miguel Poveda He will return to Seville in September. This is what the singer announced on his social networks with a very special concert for the fifteenth anniversary of “Coplas of love”his most acclaimed album in which he pays homage to … copla, by selecting a few songs and giving them new life, which marked a before and after in the genre.
Next year he will embark on a new tour that will begin in June and will visit twelve Spanish cities, including the capital Seville and, although the location is still unknown, the date of the show is already known: next September 18.
The Catalan will be on tour until December for this unique anniversary, where he will visit the Andalusian community several times throughout the summer.
The album ‘Coplas del Quiero’ was released in 2009 and reissued to give a twist to these great classics of Spanish music with modern arrangements by Joan Albert Amargós and collaborations by Chicuelo, highlighting songs such as “Ojos Verdes”, “La Bien Pagá”, “Rocío” and “Como las Piedras”. The album received a gold and platinum disc as well as three Music Awards and was a real phenomenon that brought this genre closer to new generations.
