Itambé Minas beat Sesi Bauru by 3 sets to 1, in a comeback – shares of 16-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-23 -, Wednesday evening (17/12), at the UniBH Arena, in Belo Horizonte (MG), during the penultimate day of the Men’s Volleyball Superliga 2025/26, going from seventh to fifth position with 16 points.

Thus, the Minastenista team continues with mathematical chances of finishing the round within the G4. This was Minas’ fourth consecutive victory in the competition, with 12 points added.
The place in the G4 will be decided on the last day, next Sunday (21/12), in the confrontation between Minas and Saneago Goiás, fourth place with 18 points, at 11 a.m., in Goiânia (GO), in the last match of the Men’s Superliga before the suspension of the end-of-year holidays.
Sesi Bauru, which remains eighth with 12 points, will face Viapol São José on Saturday (20/12), at 9 p.m., in São José dos Campos (SP). See the full rankings below.
Pointer Léo Lukas, who suffered from a sprained ankle and started the match on the bench, entered the first set in place of Pato, was the top scorer of the match with 23 points and won the VivaVôlei Trophy. Other highlights for Minas were Samuel, 18, and Bertolini, 11. Sesi Bauru had 13 points from forward Vaccari and 10 from central defender Barreto.
– The team needed my contribution, but throughout the match everyone started to play well. This turning point did not happen by chance. Everyone’s mood has improved on the field – said Léo Lukas in an interview with Sportv.
