Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, allowed new visits to former President Jair Bolsonaro in prison. After a request from the defence, Moraes set December 9, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., for Michel and Flavio Bolsonaro to appear before federal police surveillance in Brasilia.
The meeting between the two parties must be separate and last for a maximum of 30 minutes. When Moraes allowed the visit, he confirmed that he was following the administrative and security rules of the Federal Police Supervision Authority.
Regarding visits by family members to prisoners on site, a special regulation stipulates that visits take place, as a general rule, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., for a period of 30 minutes, with a maximum of two family members per day, and that each family member visits the prisoner separately.
