New York index futures operated without a single direction: the S&P 500 lost 0.13%, the Nasdaq fell 0.50% and the Dow Jones rose 0.23%. The DXY, which measures the strength of the dollar against a basket of six strong currencies, rose 0.11% to 98.454 points.
