Having difficulty being a candidate for governor of Paraná for União Brasil, senator Sergio Moro will have difficulty finding another party that accommodates his political project.
He faces resistance within the PP, which forms a federation with the Union and should agree with his candidacy. The party defends its support for the candidate presented by the current governor, Ratinho Jr. (PSD).
One of the options mentioned for the senator is Missão, a new party created by the MBL. He and the group have a history of closeness and even entered into an alliance in 2022, which failed with the former judge’s withdrawal from his candidacy for president.
Missão, however, has already launched a pre-candidate for the government, the lawyer Luiz Felipe França.
In Podemos, another alternative discussed, there is still resentment towards Moro for abruptly changing the party, of which he was a member, to União Brasil during the last elections.
