A 24-year-old mother was arrested for mistreating her three children, Thursday afternoon (12/18), in Jundiaí, interior of São Paulo. She attacked the children verbally and physically, hitting them with slippers and a broom.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), military police officers were called to Avenida Nações Unidas, in Vila Esperança, following an anonymous tip. On site, the police discovered that a 4-year-old child had several injuries to his body.
The attacker’s son had black eyes and marks on his back, the result of his mother’s attacks. Questioned by the police, the woman admitted to having hit her son and claimed that he had taken a sum of money, in addition to his neighbor’s cell phone.

The young woman was arrested and taken to the police station, where she gave a statement before being released. The minor and his brothers, aged 9 and 3, were handed over to their grandmother by the Guardianship Council.
In a note, the SSP informed that the case was registered as bodily injury and mistreatment by the Jundiaí 1st Police District service.
