Brasilia once again hosts one of the main initiatives aimed at strengthening female entrepreneurship in the capital. On March 3 and 4, 2026, Movimente promotes a new edition, which marks the transition of the Federal District project to the Central-West route, expanding its scope beyond the territory where it was born.
For three years, Movimente went beyond the event format and structured itself as a continuous action program, articulating public authorities, institutions and civil society around the promotion of small businesses run by women.
Movimente 2026’s programming will include conferences, panels, an entrepreneurs’ fair and wellness experiences over the two days of the event.
Among the highlights already confirmed is Maria da Penha, symbol of the fight for women’s rights in Brazil. Her participation takes place in the year when the Maria da Penha law celebrates its 20th anniversary, strengthening the dialogue between female entrepreneurship and the protection of women’s rights.
The event will take place at the Royal Tulip Brasília, with programming throughout the day.
Registration is free and can be done via the website movimente.df.sebrae.com.br.
In 2026, the project officially enters a new phase, ending the departmental cycle and inaugurating regional expansion. Focused on themes such as belonging, inclusion, female leadership, innovation and the future, Movimente 2026 presents itself as a space for reflection on the path traveled and the construction of the next stages of the project.
One of the symbolic moments planned is the official end of the cycle, with the launch of the Movimente Centre-West routein addition to the presentation of the manifesto which will guide the initiative’s next actions.
Beyond the technical programming, the environment will be thought of as a sensory experience, and the visual identity of the edition reflects the transition of the project, linking the “local” (organic and intimate) to the “national” (technological and grandiose).
The program will be distributed in the form of keynote conferences with national leaders; panels on the market, innovation and territory; conversation circles with entrepreneurs; Arena Futuro with trends for business women; showcase of public-private initiatives; in addition to wellness and self-care experiences.
This year, the Movimente nas Cidades strengthened female leadership in practically all administrative regions
Getting around cities
After the launch event in 2024, Movimente was covered by Movimente nas Cidades, a traveling format that covered, throughout 2025, practically all administrative regions of the Federal District.
The initiative was present in São Sebastião, Jardim Botânico, Guará, Recanto das Emas, Planaltina, Taguatinga, Riacho Fundo II, Santa Maria, Gama, Arniqueira, Núcleo Bandeirante, Candangolândia, Vicente Pires, Sobradinho, Fercal and Ceilândia, in addition to special editions, such as Movimente na AgroBrasília, also aimed at rural entrepreneurs.
At all stages, the focus has been on women entrepreneurs, with particular attention to regions where entrepreneurship emerges as an income and livelihood alternative.
In each territory, the project adapted the methodology to local realities, bringing together entrepreneur fairs, technical advice, conversation circles, inspiration panels and coordination with leaders and public policies.
Throughout 2025, Movimente nas Cidades strengthened formalization, management and access to markets for small businesses in the Federal District, in addition to consolidating support networks between women, institutions and communities.
The presence of private partners, financial institutions, educational establishments and public organizations has broadened the scope of actions and helped structure a more integrated business environment.
From the diagnosis to the movement that reached the entire DF
Movimente was born from an in-depth diagnosis of the reality of women who undertake business in the Federal District. The research that gave rise to the project interviewed more than a thousand business owners from all administrative regions, as well as community and institutional leaders.
The survey identified the main obstacles encountered in entrepreneurship, ranging from work-life balance to public safety, women’s health and access to market opportunities.
This listening process gave rise to social and institutional mobilization which culminated in a major neighborhood event in March 2024, bringing together around 2,000 participants and generating 51 proposals to promote equal opportunities in the business world.
The movement has progressed in the area of public policy with the creation of an integrated agenda between government, private initiative and civil society.
From this stage, the project began to be understood as a permanent development program, with continuous actions in the territories.
For Sebrae, in the Federal District, Movimente has gone beyond the role of a program and has consolidated itself as a territorial policy of listening, training, connection and social transformation, with a direct impact on the local economy and the lives of thousands of women.
In this way, Movimente 2026 intends to position itself as a space where stories meet, where businesses strengthen and where new futures begin to be built.

More than training, the event remains faithful to the purpose of moving people, territories and opportunities, of connecting those who dream, those who undertake and those who believe that economic development is also a collective social transformation.
