MP suspends action that banned Corinthians from holding stadium events

Hours before Corinthians took the field in the Copa do Brasil semi-final, Gaviões da Fiel announced that the ban on stadium attendance had been lifted by the São Paulo Public Prosecutor’s Office. The action was imposed by the São Paulo Football Federation FPF, on the recommendation of the MP-SP, last Thursday (11/12).

“Gaviões da Fiel announces that the recommendation of the Public Ministry which limited the presence of our supporters during Sunday’s match has been suspended. Therefore, in the decision of the semi-final of the Brazilian Cup, against Cruzeiro, Fiel will be in the stands, pushing the Corinthians from the first to the last minute”, announced the organizer.

Supporters also thanked the authorities responsible for the case who were able to reverse the decision.

Gaviões da Fiel announces that the recommendation of the public prosecutor’s office which limited the presence of our supporters during Sunday’s match has been suspended.

Thus, during the decision of the semi-final of the Brazilian Cup, against Cruzeiro, Fiel will be in the stands, pushing the Corinthians from the first to the last minute.

With our banners, our instruments and our clothing, we will transform the stadium into a real melting pot, as only Corinthians fans can do.

This achievement is not the result of chance. It is the result of a lot of work, dialogue and responsibility.

There was tireless commitment on the part of Gaviões da Fiel, of our legal department through Dr. Edson Roberto Baptista de Oliveira and also of the Public Ministry, through the prosecutors Roberto Bacal and Daniela Hashimoto, who worked to guarantee this temporary result.

We also thank the 2nd Battalion of the Military Police, in the person of Majors Archange and Zaccaro; to the Civil Police, in the person of Dr César Saad (DRADE); to the Corinthians; to the São Paulo Football Federation; and to all the authorities who contributed to this decision.

Gaviões da Fiel reaffirms its commitment to the negotiations linked to the TAC and will continue to be available to the competent authorities so that this sanction can be definitively revoked.
