Various neighborhoods in La Plata without water or low pressure this Wednesday, December 3. According to Absa, work is underway on the water network and excavations in different areas of the city.
One of the interventions was carried out at the intersection of 27th and 82nd Street, affecting the water supply in the sector designated as 19 to 134; and from 32 to 38. While work is being done on the pumping equipment located at 155 and 520 that affects water service from 155 to 161; And from 520 to 526.
At the same time, the announced tasks to connect the pits at 137 and 85 continue, which may cause a drop in pressure and/or water outages in the quarter from 131 to 137 and from 76 to 90. Meanwhile, “an electrical power failure prevents the operation of the water pits from 20 and 90, affecting the sector designated by streets 17 to 22, and from 84 to 90,” the company explained.
Finally, Absa reported, “As a result of work on the water network, water supplies in two sectors of the city of Bale were affected.” In this sense, it was pointed out that “one of the interventions corresponds to the laying of pipes on Avenue 476 from 14c to Camino General Belgrano, affecting the service in sectors from 17 to 24; and from 471 to 480.”
In addition, maintenance tasks are being carried out on existing water holes on Camino Centenario and 460, “so pressure drops or water shortages have been recorded in the sector between Camino Centenario and 17; and from 460 to 462,” the spokesmen said.
In all cases, “users are asked to take care of household water reserves and use it only for hydration and urgent work, until service returns to normal.”
