Sao Paulo – Netflix has expanded its portfolio of national productions and announced, this Tuesday (12/9), during the Feito Aqui event, its new Brazilian reality show: Does Your Mother Know You?, directed by Claudia Raia. THE Metropolises was present at the event, where the novelty planned for 2026 was officially revealed.
Excited by the new challenge, Claudia Raia presented the concept of the new attraction of the red rental store: “I will present Your mother knows you. Every mother is sure that she knows her child, but does she really know? The mother who knows her little one best wins the competition.”

The dynamic will bring mothers and children face to face in tests that test affinity, memory, remarkable stories and even everyday secrets.
According to Elisa Chalfon, head of programming for Netflix’s reality shows, this proposal reinforces the platform’s strategy of investing heavily in original formats produced in Brazil: “It’s another example of how the country has a lot of strength to be the global center of reality TV.”
