Netflix confirmed the premiere of Agatha Christie: The Seven Spheresa new period and mystery series that will appear on the platform in January 2026 and is based on the author’s novel of the same name. Set in 1925 England, the fiction combines crime, secrets and aristocracy and aims to appeal to fans of high society productions such as: Bridgerton And Downton Abbey.

What is “Agatha Christie: The Seven Spheres” about?
The story is set England, 1925and begins during a lavish party in a country house, where an apparent prank ends in an unexpected crime. Due to this fact, all guests come under suspicion and an investigation is launched to uncover hidden secrets of British high society.

The cast is led by Mia McKenna-BruceBAFTA winner for Rising Star, playing Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent. Speaking about the project, the actress said: “Chris Chibnall’s scripts are brilliant and I’m delighted to be a part of it new interpretation from Agatha Christie’s iconic story.
The series also features Helena Bonham Carter like Lady Caterham, Martin Freeman in the role of Inspector Battle and Corey Mylchreestknown for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storylike Gerry Wade. The cast is rounded out by Ed Bluemel, Nabhaan Rizwan and other well-known British artists.
In addition to Chibnall as writer and executive producer, the creative team also includes Suzanne Mackie (The crown), Chris Sussman (Good omens) and Chris Sweeney, who also directs all three episodes. The production has the endorsement of Agatha Christie Limitedwith James Prichard, the author’s great-grandson, as executive producer.
