Comlurb will begin, in an unprecedented way, to contract the “live line” tree pruning service, in operational partnership with Light-Conecta, for the management of trees in areas in direct conflict with the electricity network. The proposal is to ensure greater safety when pruning without the need to cut off the power supply.
The contract includes three trucks and trained technical teams, which will work exclusively at the service of Comlurb.
It is expected that the service will begin operating during the first week of January, with a focus on responding to incidents involving risks of falling branches or interference with the electricity network, registered by residents in 1746.
