Budgetary reinforcement so as not to stop investments
The approved extension does not imply the opening of a new period, but rather allows all applications submitted and those registered up to the date to be processed. December 31, 2026. Concretely, the increase of 56 million euros prevents viable projects from being left aside due to lack of credit.

European funds and regional funding
Aid funding comes mainly from FEDER Operational Program of Extremadura 2021-2027with 85% co-financing. This European support makes it possible to increase the intensity of subsidies, with one exception.
THE large companies They cannot benefit from FEDER funds, so their aid will be entirely financed by regional resources. This differentiation maintains the balance between support for SMEs and support for larger road projects.
Non-repayable grants

Express processing and reduced financial costs
One of the main novelties of the decree is the incorporation of a express procedure. This system makes it possible to request aid and, if granted, process the payment in a single administrative procedure.
The beneficiary does not need to submit an additional collection request, which reduces delays, eliminates redundant procedures and speeds up the arrival of funds to businesses.
Support for rising interest rates
The call also includes a additional help intended to offset financial costs. It is aimed at companies that use bank loans or guarantees from mutual guarantee companies to carry out their investment projects.
This strengthening is particularly relevant in a context of high interest rates, which make access to financing more expensive and can slow down strategic decisions.
Priority to rural areas and digitalization
The new incentive framework strengthens the rating of projects developed in the rural environmentparticularly in communities with low populations. The measure is part of policies to combat depopulation and territorial rebalancing.
In addition, the lines linked to digitalization of businesses and the promotion of enterprise 4.0, aiming at technological modernization and improving productivity.
Up to 50% of the eligible project
Aid intensity increased by five percentage points. THE small businesses can receive up to 50% of the eligible project, the AVERAGE up to 40% and big up to 30%.
The system includes three modalities: activity subsidy, generation change subsidy and specific aid for digitalization. A flexible system that seeks to adapt to the reality of the economic fabric of Extremadura.
With this budgetary reinforcement, the Authority consolidates a key instrument for attracting investments, supporting employment and maintaining the economic pulse of Extremadura in the years to come.
