The judiciary carried out new raids as part of the investigation into Sur Finanzas, the financial company linked to the president of the AFA, Claudio “Chiqui” Tapia.
The operations reportedly take place in at least nine companies affiliated with Sur Finanzas and are carried out on behalf of Judge Luis Armella in downtown Buenos Aires.
Yesterday, over 12 hours, more than 30 raids were carried out at the AFA headquarters and the Ezeiza ground, the headquarters of the Super League, as well as at several clubs, including Racing, Independiente, San Lorenzo, Argentinos Juniors, Barracas Central, Platense and Banfield.
