New Year’s Eve in Paulista will cost the city of São Paulo at least 6.1 million reais in fees for the artists and personalities who will perform on the stage installed on Avenida Paulista at the turn of 2025 and 2026. This value does not take into account the kept secret contracts with religious artists. The amount is almost double the R$3.2 million spent on New Year’s Eve shows from 2024 to 2025. Additionally, the city of São Paulo is paying R$4 million to sponsor a gospel evening at the Neo Quimica Arena.
Among the shows, the most expensive will be those of Ana Castela and Simone Mendes, who will perform in prime time, the first at 10 p.m. and the second during New Year’s Eve. Each of them will receive a sum of R$ 1.35 million for New Year’s Eve. Both have charged around R$ 800,000 from other town halls, according to the national public procurement portal, but it is common for prices to be higher in the evening of the New Year. Ana Castela herself also plays in Brasilia on the 1st, for R$1.2 million.
João Gomes sings at 6 p.m. with a fee of R$1 million, followed by Belo, who will receive R$800,000 for the performance. The city of São Paulo even signed a contract with Luísa Sonza for this piece, at the same price, but the contract was terminated in November, the day before the program was announced.
The country duo Maiara & Maraisa has a fee of R$900,000 and plays at 8:40 p.m., just before Ana Castela’s performance. In 2026, Latino closes the program with a show that cost the city of São Paulo R$400,000.

The list of attractions is longer, however, as stage activities begin at 8 a.m., with a performance by DJ KVSH in honor of the 100th anniversary of the São Silvestre International Race. His fees will amount to R$200,000.
Shows begin at 2:00 p.m., with performances of religious music, with Colo de Deus, Frei Gilson and Padre Marcelo Rossi. However, unlike the others, these contracts were not published in the Official Journal. The only information made public is a “cooperation agreement” with Summer Produções to organize “a musical show, with the participation of Grupo Colo de Deus and guests” on New Year’s Eve. The documents of this agreement are, however, kept confidential by the town hall. Colo de Deus alone charged between R$100,000 and R$140,000 for shows on joint dates.
The column also spotted three other fee contracts related to New Year’s Eve in Paulista: Rooneyoyo O Guardião, a DJ who will receive R$50,000, Dani Oliver, master of ceremonies with a fee of R$31,500, and Manoel Soares, a former world actor who will also receive R$31,500 for the service.
