In the penultimate round of the Brazilian championship, Neymar played a decisive role and led Santos to an important victory over Juventude, Wednesday (3), with a score of 3-0. The number 10 scored all three goals in the match and pulled the Sao Paulo team out of the relegation zone.
With 44 points, two more than Vitoria, in 17th place, the Baixada team reaches the final round outside the so-called Z4 and will rely only on itself to ensure it remains in the elite. Next Sunday (7), they will face Cruzeiro, in Vila Belmiro.
In Caxias do Sul, they only scored in the second phase. Neymar opened the winning way in the 11th minute, doubled in the 20th minute, then scored his third goal from a penalty kick in the 28th minute.
Now, the star has scored eight goals in the tournament, in which he played only 19 matches. In his second period with Santos, the player suffered successive injuries.
With his left knee injured, Neymar played a role in Nacional’s final stages to help the club avoid the second relegation in its history.
