
The hottest season of the year only begins on the 21st, but as of Saturday (6), “summer nights” return to Morro da Urca. Opening is rapper BK, with the album “Diamantes, Tears and Faces to Forget” (which was nominated in two categories at the recent Latin Grammys) and more hits from his career, and DJ Saddam, who will be touring rap nationally and internationally, as well as other aspects of black music.

— I am a neighbor of Morro da Urca and I walk on Pista Claudio Coutinho almost every day. I have been visiting this postcard since the 1980s when “Noites Cariocas” was shown. I’ve DJed a few times and it’s always special – Saddam highlights.
The program continues for the following two Saturdays, always with two shows per night: CPM 22 and Raimundos (13) and Blitz and Biquini Cavadão (20).
“Since I went to Rio, I heard about performances in Morro da Urca and it was my dream to play there,” says Dejao, from Brasilia, lead singer of Raimundos, a band that has not performed in Rio for more than a year. – We will present our “RAIMUNDOS XXX” tour, in which we mix new songs with classic songs. It’s going to be epic, off the charts.
The event returns on January 10th with Ferrugem, Banda Toda Forma de Amor and DJ Tartaruga; He is followed by Delacruz (17), Pablo (30) and Lagom (31). The party ends on February 7 with Os Paralamas do Sucesso.
