More than a “course to meet requirements,” NR-34 training prepares workers to recognize dangerous situations and act safely on a daily basis. The goal is to turn theory into practice, ensuring that everyone knows how to accomplish their tasks without putting themselves or others at risk.
“Many accidents occur not because of a lack of rules, but because of a lack of real understanding of the risks. The NR-34 requires training that goes beyond the role, which truly prepares the team for the complex environment of a shipyard.”
explains Caroline Zimmermann, occupational safety technician and training specialist at INBRAEP. “Continuous, quality training in NR-34 cannot be considered as an expense, but as an essential investment to preserve lives”
Recent data from the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE) show a worrying scenario: Brazil records an increase in the number of workplace accidents every year. In the comparison between the first half of 2024 and the first half of 2025, an increase of 8.98% was recorded. The MTE highlights that the lack of adequate training and non-compliance with safety standards are among the factors contributing to these alarming figures.
To meet this need, there are already specific and accessible courses on the NR-34 on the market. INBRAEP is an educational institution focused on professional qualification, offering occupational safety courses recognized throughout Brazil. Its training is developed to meet the requirements of the law and, at the same time, the real needs of workers and companies in the naval sector.
