
An off-duty Military Police (PM) officer was killed after being shot during a robbery this Thursday morning (12/18), on Rua Virginia Ferni, in Itaquera, east of São Paulo.
The victim was in his own car when, around 6:20 a.m., a thief approached him. It is not yet known whether the criminal shot the off-duty Prime Minister following a reaction or because he had discovered his profession.

The suspect then fled, taking the officer’s weapon, a .40 caliber pistol. The off-duty Prime Minister was rescued and taken to PS Planalto, but he did not survive his injuries.
The file was forwarded by the military police to the 103rd Police District (Itaquera). No one has been arrested as of this publication.
