Monday will be marked by high temperatures and rain across much of Brazil. The combination of heat and high humidity is expected to favor intense showers, especially in the northern, central-western and southern regions, while areas of the southeast and interior northeast will experience favorable weather.

In the south of the country, instability is increasing, particularly in Rio Grande do Sul, where more intense rains are expected, associated with the action of frontal systems. Santa Catarina and Paraná may also experience showers throughout the day. Minimum temperatures are between 20°C and 22°C, with maximum temperatures of up to 32°C, which can fall after the rains pass, explains meteorologist Andrea Ramos.
— Like yesterday, the cloud formation continues to favor a high volume of rain in Rio Grande do Sul. In the early morning, it should already rain in Porto Alegre and west of Santa Catarina
In the northern region, forecasts indicate a very high chance of rain, above 70% in large areas of the Amazon. The heat remains intense, with maximum temperatures reaching 34°C, increasing the feeling of suffocation. Showers are expected to occur mainly between the afternoon and evening, with the possibility of thunderstorms.
The Northeast presents a contrasting scenario. On the coast and in the north of the region, notably in Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará, the action of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) favors more frequent rains. In the interior and semi-arid areas, the weather remains hot and dry, with high minimum temperatures, ranging from 23°C to 26°C, and little cloudiness.
— We will have rain in the Northern region, with heat and humidity also in the Northeast region, such as southern Maranhão, northwest Bahia, southern Piauí and Maranhão, largely due to thermodynamics — explains meteorologist Andrea Ramos.

In the Center-West, the maps show a predominance of areas with frequent and heavy rains, notably in Mato Grosso, Goiás and Tocantins. Showers accompanied by lightning and gusts of wind are forecast. Temperatures remain high, alternating periods of sunshine and rain.
The South-East region should experience more stable weather over part of the territory, due to anticyclonic systems. São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro appear to have a low chance of rain, favoring a sunny and warm Sunday, especially on the coast. Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo may record isolated showers. Minimum temperatures vary between 18°C and 22°C.
