
a person died and another was seriously injured this Sunday after the mid-air collision of two helicopters near the municipal airport of Hammontonjanthe state of New Jersey, according to local media.
The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. local time. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), it was a mid-flight collision between an Enstrom F-28A helicopter and an Enstrom 280C.
Authorities said only the pilot traveled on each plane. One of them died at the scene of the accident, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital.

This is the second accident aerial of this type, between two piloted aircraft, which is happening in the United States this year.
On January 29, an American Eagle Bombardier CRJ700 regional aircraft (flight 5342) collided with a Black Hawk military helicopter near Reagan National Airport in Washington, killing 67 people among the 64 occupants of the aircraft and 3 on board the helicopter.
