A man has died and six others were affected due to smoke inhalation and various injuries after the ifire declared in certain mattresses on the ground floor of a three-story house located on Solana Alta Street, in Mondéjar (Guadalajara).
… The announcement of the event was received at 3:45 a.m. this Thursday, as reported by sources from the Emergency and Emergency Service 112 of Castilla-La Mancha, who indicated that the seven men were immigrants and lived in the same house.
One of them has died from smoke inhalation and another was seriously injured for the same reason, transferred by an intensive care unit to the General Hospital of Guadalajara.
The other five were slightly injured for various reasons.some from smoke inhalation and others were injured trying to leave the house by jumping from the first floor balcony, transferred to the same hospital by two resuscitation ambulances.
Members of the Civil Guard, Azuqueca firefighters, an emergency doctor and a group of Civil Protection volunteers went to the scene.
