A police operation carried out this Wednesday (10/12) in Maragogipe, Bahia, resulted in three deaths and three arrests. The action, called Operation Recôncavo, aims to dismantle the leaders and members of a criminal organization that operates in the district of Nagé and neighboring municipalities.

Throughout the day, teams executed more than 30 court-issued search and seizure warrants. According to the civil police, the three dead suspects clashed with the teams participating in the investigation. They were rescued and transported to a municipal health center, but they did not survive their injuries.
