The action began after the seizure of more than 40 kg of cocaine on October 26, located in two suitcases clandestinely inserted in the hold of a plane bound for France.
One of the persons investigated received the suitcases containing the drugs through an open hole in the fence that provides access to the aircraft’s apron, while the other monitored and facilitated the illicit placement of the cargo inside the aircraft. The drug was identified by employees who noticed inconsistencies during the operational procedure and called the PF.
