
According to initial reports, Civil Defense was called to remove the material, which was collected and sent for analysis. The Civil Police confirmed that experts were on site for the first assessments. In a video circulating on the Internet, people can be heard observing the material and saying that among the organs found, the lungs, trachea and tongue were still intact.
According to the 16th DP (Barra da Tijuca), the organs found were transported to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). After examinations, it turned out that the collected material was not of human origin.
Investigations are underway to investigate the circumstances of the case and identify the origin of the materials found on the beach.
