The political jingles began casually in Tres Estrellas, the show that Pedro Rosemblat hosted in 2023 on his streaming channel Gelatina. In the run-up to the presidential election, noticing how many jingles they were receiving from their followers, they created “The Jingle Factory,” a nearly hour-long segment that still airs on Thursdays for part of the year. The only thing that changed was the name of the show, which went from “Three Stars” to “National Industry” with a changed cast.
Blow. Just as “The Jingle Factory” was the artistic and popular seal of the 2023 election and runoff, for Gelatina it meant a consolidation of its brand, a repositioning in the streaming universe that brought with it the opening of 2025 with a new studio, the appearance of sponsors and new productions in different formats. And this year they also promoted the chant “Alta coimera, Karina es alta coimera,” a jingle created when it was announced that Milei’s sister would receive three percent of the bribes from the government’s purchase of medicines for the disabled.
The success of the jingles encouraged Rosemblat to make the leap into live shows with Festival de Jingles. In 2024 there were two at Obras Stadium; Yesterday, Saturday, they filled the Diego Maradona Stadium with 25,000 people.
Authoritarians don’t like that
The practice of professional and critical journalism is a mainstay of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe that they are the owners of the truth.
Maradona. The heat on Friday caused additional effervescence in advance of the concert, where, as in the previous two concerts in 2024, the “Jelly Mass” brought together thousands of people who have some things in common when it comes to politics, Argentina, Maradona and other things that go in this direction. The choice of this place was not a coincidence, Rosemblat is a fan of Maradona as a whole, with lights and shadows. Last October, he turned the Argentino Juniors Museum into a streaming studio from which he broadcast a special National Industry program in honor of Maradona’s 65th birthday.
Pure passion. Yesterday the Maradon spirit and passion were present when Dalma Maradona appeared on stage and performed a fragment of Maradó, the song Los Piojos dedicated to Diego. The show was unforgettable for the Gelatina and its streaming community, who saw León Gieco, Rubén Rada, Walas, Gaspar Benegas and famous Gelatina jingleros on stage. Backstage, attentive and present, Lali Espósito, Pedro’s girlfriend, who also fills stadiums.
