
Perry Bamonteguitarist of the British band The remedydied at the age of 65, as confirmed by the group in a press release shared on its website.
“It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of our great friend and bandmate, Perry Bamonte, who has passed away after a brief illness home for Christmas,” the band says.
“Calm, intense, intuitive, constant and extremely creative, ‘Teddy’ was part warm and vital story of The Cure” continues the press release from the legendary group.
“Under the group’s care from 1984 to 1989, he became full member of The Cure in 1990playing guitar, six-string bass and keyboard The wish, Wild mood swings, Blood Flowersacoustic hits and albums by The Cure, in addition to having given more than 400 concerts over 14 years”, adds the text.
“He joined The Cure in 2022, give 90 more concerts, some of the best in the band’s history, culminating in the concert of Lost World in London on November 1, 2024,” said the group’s press release.
“Our thoughts and condolences go out to his entire family. we will miss him very much“, he concludes.
