American actor Peter Greene died this Friday (12), at the age of 60. One of his best-known roles is that of the sadistic villain Zed, in Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction.”
He was found dead in his New York apartment by his manager Gregg Edwards, who confirmed the death to the American press, but did not detail the causes.
His first major role in a feature film was in 1992’s “Laws of Gravity,” in which he starred alongside Edie Falco, of “The Sopranos” fame.
After “Pulp Fiction,” he was then cast as Dorian Tyrell, the main villain in 1994’s “The Mask,” starring Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz. He also worked on “The Usual Suspects” in 1996, alongside Benicio del Toro and Kevin Spacey.
One of his last significant roles was in the 2023 miniseries “The Continental,” starring Mel Gibson.
