Peter Greene, the actor widely known for his roles as villains and criminals in cult films of the 1990s, died at the age of 60 after being found dead in his apartment on New York’s Lower East Side this Friday.
His representative and manager Gregg Edwards confirmed the death but did not provide a cause of death. The news initially attracted attention after it was published by the New York Daily News.
According to Edwards, the artist’s body was found after a doctor’s visit was requested because music was playing continuously in Greene’s apartment for more than 24 hours.
